Round steel chains are used as lifting chains. These chains are manufactured in various shapes and grades by resistance welding pre-bent chain links in fully automated welding machines. The chain links are then heat-treated, automatically stretched, and inspected. After tensile and bending tests, the inspected round steel chains are stamped by the meter.
