High-strength shackles as connecting links for lifting equipment

Shackles are used to absorb tensile forces between the lifting device (e.g., crane chains ) and the load being lifted. Shackles are typically U-shaped or curved and feature a screw or pin. Depending on the design, the pins may be secured with nuts or cotter pins.

Our high-strength, galvanized shackles offer a 6-fold safety factor and are suitable for direct load attachment during lifting. Load capacities range from 330 kg to 55 tons. The version with an eye bolt closure is particularly suitable for short-term applications; it allows for quick and easy attachment. If there is a possibility that the bolt could rotate during fastening, the version with a nut and cotter pin is recommended.
